I have asked schools and academies for a contact name and some details to allow me to do business with you. This is a Business to Business relationship in which I am the data controller and the school contact is the data subject. Information is collected during our meetings, telephone conversations, letters, e-mails with you and through fact finds.
What do I collect?
In line with data protection laws I am only able to process personal data where I have a valid reason to do so. This includes details such as the name, email address, address, and telephone number of the school contact.
Any information or data about other individuals in a school or academy will be retained in an anonymised form.
What do I do with your information?
I will use your personal data to fulfil tutoring requests, meet my contractual obligations, and deliver a high-quality service to clients and tutors.
Sharing information with third parties
I will not share any information with third parties without your express permission, unless I am required to do so by law.
How do I keep your information safe?
I take reasonable steps to ensure that your information is kept safe and will endeavour to protect it from unauthorised access. Your information will only be kept for a commercially reasonable period of time for the purposes stated above.
Retention Periods
I will retain your data only for as long as necessary in accordance with applicable laws. I will keep your personal data while you are an active client. If you do not receive any services for a period of 8 years your data will be deleted.
Right to be Forgotten
You have the right to object to my use of your personal data and to ask me to delete it if there is no need for me to keep it. This is known as your right to be forgotten. Please inform me if you think I am retaining or using your personal data incorrectly. If you wish me to delete any data I hold about you, please inform me in writing and I will delete your data within 3 working days, unless there is a legal reason why I am not allowed to do so.
Access to your data
You have the right to request a copy of all personal information I hold about you at no cost. I will also correct any inaccuracies in your information at your request.
